Workshop Female Leadership
Op 12 januari organiseert Steelcase in samenwerking met Karin Jironet een Engelstalige workshop over vrouwelijk leiderschap. Dit is het vervolg op de eerste workshop. Hieronder vindt u de Engelstalige informatie over de workshop.
The world of work is rapidly changing.
Since decades Steelcase has been studying trends in work environment and changes in the way people work and interact. Trends such as Het Nieuwe Werken, CSR, talents retention/motivation, enhanced collaboration are deeply impacting the way we work and the ways companies operate.
Traditional pyramidal hierarchies, with one person at the top, who is responsible and who takes all decisions in the end, is a model that does not fit very well with a society that is organised as web and that runs on networks and relationship. Female leadership has a great potential to change the way we work.
In this session we will continue the journey of the seven sins and translating these into female forms of leadership. There will be time for interaction and personal reflection without cannibalizing the added value Karin Jironet gives us with her insights. We will go through the 4 missing sins and opposite virtues. (The 7 being: wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony)

Karin Jironet
Karin Jironet is theologian and psychologist. She works at De Baak VNO-NCW in leadership development programs and is Executive coach. Karin recently published her latest book titled ‘The essence of female leadership’, in which she leads readers through Dante's journey through Purgatory, a metaphor for how to overcome hurdles that prevent you from progressing.
In this workshop she will present her findings and address one by one the hurdles
we all have to face, such as anger, envy or jealousy, and connect them to our feminine enigma.
